- Rory Capern has spent +25 years at the intersection of the Technology, Media and Communications industries, working with some of the fastest companies in the world.
- As Chief Operating Officer at Redbrick technologies, he currently leads the M&A function and works with the portfolio’s CEOs as an operator.
- Rory is an Executive in Residence at Alacrity Canada, and also advises venture-backed Canadian technology companies as they scale. He is particularly interested in the application of proven methods for growth in new and emerging sectors of the economy.
- Previously, Rory held executive roles at Twitter Canada, where he was responsible for all aspects of Twitter’s business in the country and a member of Twitter’s Global Leadership team, Google Canada, and Microsoft Canada.
- He has served in Business Development and Strategy functions at a number of Canadian tech and media companies including Pelmorex / The Weather Network, Torstar and Bell Canada.
- Rory started his business career as a strategy consultant at the Boston Consulting Group, and holds Honours and Masters in Business degrees from the Ivey Business School at Western University.
